REBUILDING FOR THE FUTURE
The Cooks Beach Community Centre has been a place for friends and family to gather since its establishment in 1984.
Perfectly located at the corner of Purangi Road and Rees Ave it has welcomed visitors and locals alike to our beautiful Cooks Beach.
With all this love and use, comes wear and tear, and it’s now time for ‘the old friend’ to have a facelift! And for this the Committee has created a ‘Go Fund Me’ - Rebuilding for the future page to raise the funds required.
Why ‘Go Fund Me - Rebuilding for the future?’ For those not familiar with ‘Go Fund Me’, this is a website which allows people to donate money online with 100% of the proceeds going towards the rebuild of our Cooks Beach Community Centre. The Committee believes it’s the most convenient and easy way for anyone wishing to donate.
You do not have to be in Cooks Beach to contribute – just log-in from your living room, the beach, ….anywhere! It also allows you to share the fundraising page with anyone you wish and across your social media to help promote the fundraising efforts, the more the merrier.

Become a Friend of the Hall
From time to time the Committee needs help from the community to get things done - for example working bees, spring cleaning, or just an extra pair of hands to tackle an immediate problem, or to assist with our fund raising efforts for our planned hall extension. On these infrequent occasions the Committee reaches out to those people who have volunteered to be Friends of the Hall.
Please contact us if you would be happy to become a Friend of the Hall - there is no obligation to be available.
